When you have young children, you quickly realize that your house never stays clean for more than a few hours a day. Here’s my list of gifts to make chores faster for moms with toddlers.
1. Roomba Robot Vacuum
I recently purchased a Roomba Robot Vacuum and I can honestly say it was one of the best home purchases I’ve ever made.
It’s the perfect gift for a busy toddler mom.
With kids making messes all day, it gets very difficult to vacuum the house multiple times daily.
The Roomba is so great because it maps your house so it can vacuum anywhere on demand. You can even set it to vacuum your house while you’re at work.
I recommend getting the self-emptying Roomba so you don’t have to empty it every time.

2. Handheld Vacuum for quick cleanup
In addition to my Roomba Vacuum, I have a handheld vacuum used only for quick cleanups.
We all know that toddlers are very messy eaters. For those pieces of food lodged in tight corners that a Roomba can’t quite get to, a handheld vacuum will do the trick.
I love the Black & Decker handheld vacuum because it has a very strong suction. It also comes with a wall-mounted charging base so it’s always charged when you need it. I can’t imagine my day without this vacuum.
This is definitely a gift that a busy mom with a toddler would appreciate.
3. Laundry detergent sheets
Another cool gift you can get for a busy toddler mom is Laundry detergent sheets.
One thing that adds to the weight of laundry is the gallon of liquid detergent you have to take with you. Getting detergent sheets would make that load much lighter.
It’s also better for the environment because it reduces the amount of plastic we produce.
Study shows that about 75% of plastic from laundry pods and 700 million plastic jugs end up in the ocean each year
We use the Sheets Laundry Club detergents in my home. It smells great and it’s made in the USA.

4. Laundry basket with wheels
Now, this gift is a little unconventional but so useful. If the busy mom with a toddler has a regular laundry basket, get her one with wheels instead.
I used to have to drag my laundry basket down to the laundry machine in my building. It was such a pain.
After I discovered laundry baskets with wheels, doing laundry became so much easier. No more shoulder pain.

5. Pay for a full-service laundry for a month
When you have little kids, you know messes are inevitable.
If you’re looking for gift ideas for busy moms with toddlers, then this should be on your list.
You can pay for a full-service laundry for a month or two to take the workload off her back for a while.
Not having to worry about doing laundry would be awesome.
6. Paid housekeeper for a month
Another great gift for busy moms with toddlers is full-service house cleaning. You can hire a housekeeping agency to help clean her home for a set amount of time.
I guarantee she’ll find this gift so thoughtful because she’ll know you understand her struggles as a mom.
Gifts For Busy Toddler Moms To Make Cooking Easier
7. Air fryer
If you haven’t used an air fryer, then you’re missing out.
Air fryers are so convenient because they fry food without oil.
They’re not just used for frying things though. A quick google search will reveal many different recipes that can be cooked on an air fryer.
This makes it a great gift for busy moms with young kids. It takes the load of cooking from their shoulders.
This air fryer from Amazon was recommended by a lot of my mommy friends. It can crisp up food and even roast them.
8. Grocery subscription
When we had our first kid, we used a grocery subscription called Misfit Market. They deliver a variety of groceries to your door every month.
Anyone with young kids will tell you how much hassle grocery shopping with toddlers can be.
This makes a grocery delivery subscription a great gift for busy moms with toddlers.
They will appreciate not having to load up their kids to go grocery shopping every week.
You can also give her a gift card for Instacart as a one-time gift. With Instacart, she can pick specific grocery items to be delivered to her door.
9. Pressure cooker
Pressure cookers help cut your cooking time in half because they cook meals under high pressure.
When you have very young kids, it’s hard to stand over a stove for hours making a meal.
That’s why a pressure cooker would make a great gift for a busy toddler mom.
The All American 1930 Pressure Cooker on Amazon is a great pressure cooker for making meat, rice, and other food items quickly. It also doubles as a canner for fruits, meats, and vegetables.
The best part about it is that it’s one of the few pressure cookers made in the USA.
10. Meal delivery subscription
When you’re a mom of little kids, you don’t always have time to cook. Sometimes it’s easier to order in than to cook a good meal at home.
This is where a meal delivery subscription would come in handy.
Companies like Hello Fresh, Hungry Root, and Home Chef make meals that are delivered to your door. It’s like getting healthier and cheaper takeout delivered to you weekly.
This would be a good gift for a busy mom with a toddler.
Gifts For Busy Toddler Moms To Get More Organized
11. Toy organizer Shelf
Toddlers tend to have many toys. It’s always a struggle to keep these toys organized and out of the way.
One thing that I’ve found to be a necessity for any parent is a toy organizer like this one on Amazon. I love it because it has a cubicle on top and a storage area at the bottom.
It’s so convenient to be able to display a few toys for the kids to play with and store the rest out of sight.
It’s also great for parents who like to display their toys in a Montessori way.
Moms with toddlers can never have enough toy organizers, so they’ll definitely appreciate this gift.
12. Weekly/Monthly Meal Planner
A meal planner is a good gift for busy moms with toddlers because planning your meals in advance helps you eat healthier. You also save a lot more on groceries by not engaging in impulse buying.
13. Budget Planner
When you have children, it’s important to learn to budget and save for their future. We get so busy with life sometimes that we forget to do this.
That’s why a budget planner would make a good gift for a busy toddler mom, or anyone with little kids.
By learning to budget, you’ll save more money which you can put toward your kid’s college fund.
Can’t find a budget planner to buy? then get her this beautiful cash envelope wallet from Amazon. It helps you track your spending using the cash envelope system.
Gifts For Toddler Moms For Their Child’s Education
14. Montessori Toy Subscription
If you’re looking for a gift that will wow that toddler mom, then get her toddler a Montessori toy subscription.
I recommend Montikids for Montessori toys because you don’t really need a subscription. You can get play sets for different ages and skills.
This would make an awesome gift for busy moms with toddlers because the research behind each toy is already done for them.
For example, the 19-21 month set includes building sets, puzzles, and other items to learn practical life skills.
Those who follow The Montessori Method believe in offering open-ended toys that target a particular skill by age group.
This is what Montikids offers. You won’t need to worry if the toys they’re buying are developmentally appropriate or not.
15. Arts and craft toy subscription
Kids love arts and crafts but doing the same old paper and crayon coloring can get boring fast.
That’s why an arts and crafts subscription would be the perfect gift for that busy mom with a toddler.
One of my favorite arts and crafts subscriptions is by Green Kid Crafts. They deliver a monthly Box to kids filled with STEM art projects.
Each art box is designed to teach children about the environment. Some of my favorite art boxes are The Reptile Box and the Dinosaur Box.
You can also get individual boxes without a subscription if you prefer to go that route.
16. Alltruist – Kid-friendly Volunteer Box
One of my favorite gifts for moms with toddlers is the Alltruist Volunteer Box. Each box contains a volunteer project that kids work on to give back to others or their environment.
Some of my favorite boxes are the Welcome A Refugee Box, Love Our Oceans, and Food Insecurity Impact Kit.
The company makes a donation to a charity connected to the kit you purchased.
17. Busy books
Busy books are a perfect gift for busy moms with toddlers. They help keep little kids entertained especially on the go.
I’ve given them to mom friends who travel a lot with their kids. They’re also great for car rides to keep kids occupied.
They make a good screen-free alternative and teach life skills like buttoning a shirt, using a zipper, etc. Here’s one of my favorite busy book for toddlers on Amazon.
18. Toddler helper stools
Another cool gift I recently purchased is a toddler helper stool. There’s a certain time in a toddler’s life when all they want is to help out in the kitchen.
Most parents capitalize on this desire by getting their kids involved in the cooking and cleaning of the house.
That’s where a toddler helper stool would come in handy. It’s a great gift for toddler moms because kids can climb in and out of them independently.
It helps to teach them independence around the house with activities like teeth brushing and hand washing.
Toddler helper stools also prevent falls that would otherwise happen with climbing on a regular chair.
19. Play Kitchen
Play kitchens are all the rage now. They come in all shapes and sizes. There are even play kitchens that can be converted into functional kitchens.
Kids love them because they help build their imagination through play. Parents love them because it satisfies their toddler’s desire to want to cook.
I really love this play kitchen on Amazon. It’s a little more pricey but it has so many features that a toddler would love including real utensils.
If you’re on a budget, you can go with this affordable play kitchen instead. I’ve bought both types and they’ve been a hit.
20. Mommy and me class
When my kids were toddlers, we received a fully paid mommy and me class for 3 months as a gift from a family member. They loved it.
We would go weekly to interact with other kids. I also met lots of mommy friends there as well.
Mommy and me classes are a perfect gift for a busy mom with toddlers. Kids get to jump around and play. It’s a perfect place to release all their energy before bedtime.
21. Soccer class
Soccer is a great sport for active toddlers. It gives them a place to use up all their energy in a controlled environment. They also learn how to work as a team.
You can pay for a soccer program for that busy toddler mom. She will appreciate a place her kids can go to learn and be active.
22. Karate class
Another program you can sign a toddler up for is karate. Toddlers already like to jump, throw things and make a mess. In karate, they’ll learn how to channel this energy into a safe activity.
Karate would make a perfect gift for a busy mom with a toddler. You can pay for a trial class or a series of lessons.
23. Pay for summer camp
Every kid looks forward to the summer when they can travel, play and have a break from school. Parents on the other hand worry about their kids falling behind academically on summer break.
Research shows that children lose about 40% of their learning during summer break (source).
That’s where summer camp comes in.
Paying for an entire summer camp session would be such a great gift for a mom with a toddler. Summer camp can help them socialize while continuing to learn academic skills.
It’s a win-win for everyone.
24. Swim lessons
Swim lessons are another gift idea that could work for a toddler.
If the toddler doesn’t know how to swim already and the parent wants them to learn, then a swim class could work.
You can pay for one or a few lessons to start them off.
25. Kids’ iPad or Tablet
This might be a controversial gift if the toddler’s mom doesn’t like screen time. Before you buy them an iPad or tablet, try asking their parents if they like the idea.
An iPad or tablet for kids can be very educational when used appropriately.
They can watch educational shows on it, and play educational games as well. An iPad or tablet helps to keep kids busy when their parents are occupied.
I love the Amazon fire kids tablet because it comes with a one-year subscription to Amazon kids+. It also has built-in parental controls for apps, movies, and game downloads.
Kids can also make calls to approved contacts using wifi. Overall, it’s a great tablet.
